Hilary has been coming to Wiscasset since 2013 when her parents and uncle bought a house here. This area is known as “the prettiest village in Maine,” and lives up to it by being quaint as hell. Is this weekend kid-friendly?

We love your sweet children and also want the weekend to be adult-forward, and some spaces (like the wood-fired lobster at the reception) are not kid-friendly. If you are not related to us and want to bring a child over 1 year old, please just reach out and we can chat!
Is there parking?

There are 50 parking spots available at Marianmade Farm, so please carpool where possible and take shuttles on Saturday.
Will there be shuttles?

Yes, we have two shuttles to take folks to the wedding on Saturday, and home from the reception at 10. We also have 2 taxis booked from 10pm–1am to take folks home from the after party.
What about Uber/Lyft?

Wiscasset is a small town, and while you may have success hiring a ride, please do not count on this for time-sensitive transportation or late-night rides.
What is the dress code?

We truly want you to wear what makes you feel fabulous! Hilary will be wearing red and asks that others don’t — the vision generally is “jewel tones by the water.” Think semi-dressed up Friday, dressed up Saturday, casual on Sunday!

A quick note
Midcoast Maine has incredible seafood, ice cream, nature, and cute kitschy little somethings. We highly recommend you wander downtown, walk to the water, and partake in a lobster roll or oyster or two if you’re into that sort of thing! If you have a car (or make a fellow wedding guest friend with a car!) there is also lots to explore in a 20-30 min driving radius!
Car Services, Shuttles & Rental Cars
Rental cars are the best way to get around coastal Maine, though there are also shuttles and buses from Portland if you’d prefer not to rent a car. On the wedding day we will have shuttles to take guests to and from the wedding, and taxis to take people home from the after party. Uber/Lyft may be possible, but is not reliable in this part of Maine.
As many people will be coming from Boston, Portland, and New York, we are creating a carpool spreadsheet for folks to fill out in case there are extra seats to be shared. If you are driving and open to taking more passengers, please fill this out!
